The Optisym is for all snowboarders who enjoy fun, low-impact, buttery, friendly freestyle snowboarding. Turning everything into a feature, even a groomed run or the knuckles of park landings, capable of switching from airtime tricks to flat ground tricks within seconds.

The Optisym's asymmetrical Twin shape and high-speed sintered base provide a turning experience that will keep you hyped from the first call to the last chair, no matter the conditions! The board features a Cam-Out Camber profile that is fun and responsive, a dual degressive sidecut for smooth and forgiving turn initiation, with mid-wide platform to accommodate most boot sizes.

Key technologies include Bi-Lite Laminates for well-balanced response, Sintered EcoSpeed HD Base for sustainable durability, Recycled Railkiller Edge technology, Urethane Sidewalls for durability and feel, and Powercore II for enhanced performance and extra strength.

Board Type: Freestyle - All Mountain

Freestyle snowboards are built for park riders and those who love performing tricks on jumps, rails, and side hits. They feature a true twin shape, which means they ride symmetrically in both directions, making them ideal for riding switch.

All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. They typically feature a directional or directional twin shape, with a medium flex for a balance of stability while still being playful. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.

Flex: 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.

Ability Level: Beginner - Intermediate

A beginner snowboard is softer, lighter, and more stable, making it easier to control and manoeuvre while learning basic skills like turning and stopping.

Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.

Shape: Asym Twin

Exactly the same whether you're riding switch or regular, this allows you to push your switch riding and land comfortably regardless of which way you're facing. While the asymmetrical shape gives you a tighter radius on your heel side, making it easier to turn on your heels.

Camber Type: Cam-Out Camber

Cam-out camber is basically positive camber with earlier and smoother transition zones in the tip and tail. This gives the board a lower rise in the centre, resulting in a fun and responsive ride with easier turn initiation and more forgiveness, giving you the benefits of camber without the aggression.

Profile: Whiplash Core Profile

The Whiplash Core Profile reduces thickness of the board between the inserts while adding more outside your feet. This gives maximum ollie power, while still maintaining flex.

Width: Mid-Wide

Mid-wide boards offer slightly increased width, reducing toe and heel drag, enhancing flotation, and boosting confidence when leaning into powerful carves.

Sidecut: Dual Degressive Sidecut

A smaller radius sidecut in the centre along with two larger ones in the tip and tail make it feel loose, playful, and the most forgiving sidecut in the Nitro range.

Inserts: 2x4 Inserts

These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
