The Stale Fish Snowboard doesn’t really “carve” in the traditional sense — it drifts, smears, and releases like it’s half floating on water. This board feels more like a surf fin than a snowboard edge, loose in, loose out, with just enough hold to keep things from sliding completely sideways (unless you want it to). It thrives in deep days, wide faces, and high-speed carving where every turn throws a little spray and a little chaos behind it.
Free-The-Ride Camber: Designed for all-mountain prowess and float in the deep. Rockered in the nose, flat under the front foot, with a positive cambered tail.
Flex:
Flex Rating: 7 (1 Playful - 10 Precise)
Shape:
Directional Diamond 3D: Diamond 3D is designed for edge-catch-free riding and crazy float in powder. The Directional Diamond 3D is found only in the board's nose to help float in deep powder and crank long, smooth turns. Built for premium pow performance, while still being reliable on groomers.
Bi-Radial Sidecut: Utilizing a tight radius at the tip and a wide radius at the tail, this sidecut design allows for effortless initiation at the start of your turn, with powerful acceleration through the end of it. Bi-Radial sidecut maximizes your experience on short/wide board shapes by optimizing the natural progression of your turn shape and increasing grip from start to finish.
15mm Taper
Core:
Carbon HotRods: A redesigned approach to pop and response. HotRods are used in a variety of shape-specific configurations. Each configuration is designed to complement a board’s specific riding style by providing additional responsiveness where the board needs it. Super responsive and powerfully snappy.
Laminates:
Directional Flax Walls: Directional Flax Walls are used in the noses of all-mountain boards providing additional stability and power to handle steep terrain and the impact associated with all-mountain riding.
Base:
SinterStrong Base: Rome's versatile, low-maintenance, ride-it-all sintered base.
Binding Compatibility:
2 x 4 Insert Pattern
